Donald Trump, 69, is at it again! The Republican candidate
couldn’t keep his mouth shut as President Barack Obama, 54, delivered his final
State of the Union address, and he didn’t have the kindest things to say. We
know these two have very different political views, but Trump took things to a
whole new level this time!
“The #SOTU speech is really boring, slow, lethargic – very
hard to watch!” Trump wrote on Twitter. Surprisingly, he kept quiet while the
address aired live on Jan. 12, but he, of course, had to get that one dig in!
The GOP hopeful is never one to shy away from airing out his honest opinions,
and honestly, this could have been MUCH worse…but it was still pretty
inappropriate!
One person who seemed to agree with the Trump is House
Speaker Paul Ryan. The Republican congressman was seated behind President Obama
during the State of the Union, and kept a major poker face on throughout the
nearly hour-long speech. Many celebs took notice of his lack of approval, and
took to Twitter to scold him for not being supportive over certain topics.
Trump isn’t the only one here who can dish it back and
forth, though! Ahead of his big speech, the President took a little dig at his
possible successor while discussing the idea that Trump will be the next person
to make a State of the Union address, should he get elected. “Well I can
imagine it — in a Saturday Night skit,” Obama said in an interview with the
Today show. Oooo-burn! “Look, anything’s possible,” he added. “And I think, you
know, we shouldn’t be complacent.” Looks like we’ll have to wait and see
